Educational Grants

What Are Educational Grants??

Educational grants from the California Council of Square Dancers are intended to help support projects that educate dancers, callers, or the general public.

Who Is Eligible to Apply for Educational Grants?

Affiliates of the California Council of Square Dancers and Clubs that are members of an Affiliate may apply for a grant.

What Kinds of Projects May Be Eligible?

Grants are available for the promotion of Square, Round, Contra, Clog, Line, and Heritage Dancing potentially for, but not limited to:
  • Educating / training new dancers through classes of other means.
  • Educating the general public about our activity
  • Education of dancer organization leaders (leadership training, etc.).
  • Innovative concepts for the education of the general public are encouraged.
  • Caller schools for callers who have the sponsorship of their club or association.
