CALIFORNIA COUNCIL OF SQUARE DANCERS, INC.

Affiliates of the California Council of Squares dancers and their member clubs are eligible to apply for grants to support projects that educate dancers, callers, or the general public about our activity. [read more]

Dancers can earn the Friendship Badge by attending at least one California state convention and at least six different Affiliate-sponsored festivals. [read more]

The Golden Dancer program recognizes members of affliated clubs who have reached the age of 80. [read more]

Member clubs participate in a plan which satisfies the liability insurance requirements of most facilities used for square dancing, and also provides supplemental accidental medical insurance for their dancers. [read more]

The Progressive Squares program is a way to help publicize our activity by gathering groups to dance together in a visible way during the summer. [read more]

The California Council of Square Dancers encourages Affiliates and their member clubs to provide dancing opporunities for young dancers, and grants scholarships for post-secondary education for young dancers who have contributed to the activity. [read more]
